On June 22, Stecla Engenharia employees participated in our blood donation campaign at the Hematology and Hemotherapy Center of Paraná (Hemepar). The donated blood will be used in at least 384 public, private, and philanthropic hospitals, distributed across all regions of Paraná. These institutions account for 93% of the beds in the Unified Health System (SUS).
To donate, you must be between 16 and 69 years old. The donor must weigh at least 51 kilograms, be well-rested, fed, and hydrated (avoid fatty foods in the four hours preceding the donation) and present an official photo ID (identity card, professional council card, work card, passport, or driver’s license). Minors under 18 must present formal consent from a legal guardian.
For those who donate, it's just a few minutes; for those who receive, it's a lifetime. Do like our employees, donate blood!
